History of the hours of Glory
"Glory" is one of the most mass Soviet brands of watches aimed at the General population. Exported to many countries, and in some years, the export amounted to 50 % of the issue.
The history of hours "Glory" originates in 1924 with the founding of the Second Moscow watch factory.
In the second half of 1950-ies there was line of women's watches. Later under this name are produced with mechanical and quartz wrist watches, alarm clocks, pocket and wall clocks.
In 2005, the plant and the trade mark "Slava" were acquired by the Bank Globex and subsequently became the property of the city of Moscow.
The exclusive right of the watchmaking brand has Slava Trade House "Slava". In the production used the original arrangements of the Second Moscow watch factory and Japanese Miyota quartz movements.
